Women's Volleyball win streak snapped at Emmanuel

BOSTON, Mass. --- The Becker College women's volleyball team saw their five-match winning streak to start their 2019 season come to an end at Emmanuel College on Thursday evening at Yosinoff Court in Boston, falling 25-14, 25-18, 25-15.

FOR THE HAWKS
• Freshman outside hitter Teddie Flynn (Amesbury, Mass. / Essex Tech) posted four kills and six digs.
• Sophomore libero Joanna Bampi (Peabody, Mass. / Peabody Veterans) led the defense with 21 digs, averaging seven per set.
• Senior outside hitter Sofia Cullina (Deep River, Conn. / Valley Regional) posted two kills and ten digs.
• The Hawks had entered the match with five straight wins to start 2019, the best start to the program in school history.

UP NEXT
The Hawks are back on the court on Saturday when they play host to MCLA at 12:00 p.m.
