LEICESTER, Mass. --- The Becker College women's lacrosse team lost 20-3 to visiting UMaine-Farmington on Sunday afternoon at Alumni Field in Leicester.

The Beavers of Maine-Farmington (4-8) were led by senior attacker Carly Raymond (Topsham, Maine / Mt. Ararat) with eight goals and four ground balls. Freshman midfielder Isabella Monbouquette (Bath, Maine / Morse) scored four goals and collected six ground balls. Sophomore midfielder Keilly Lynch (Lyman, Maine / Massabesic) scored a hat trick with assists, while junior midfielder Jenessa Talarico (Lewiston, Maine / Lewiston) added four goals, two assists and six ground balls. Junior defender Nicole Mercier (Shapleigh, Maine / Massabesic) also posted one goal.

The Hawks of Becker (0-9) had their first goal from freshman midfielder Sydney Theriault (Brookfield, Conn. / Brookfield), who had her fifth goal of the year with 4:40 to go in the first half. Sophomore midfielder Cassandra Nelson (Exeter, N.H. / Exeter) had her 11th goal of the season just 31 seconds into the 2nd period. Nelson scored again with 16:40 to go in the game, and also tallied five ground balls. Junior goalie Nikolle Storey (Cumberland, Maine / Kents Hill) finished the day with ten saves.

Becker will be back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Bay Path University for a 4:00 p.m. game. Maine-Farmington will play Thomas College at home in their next game, also on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m.
