WORCESTER, Mass. --- The Becker College women's ice hockey team lost 3-0 to visiting Endicott College on Saturday night in Colonial Hockey Conference action at the Fidelity Bank Worcester Ice Center.

The Gulls of Endicott (15-2-2, 6-0-2 CCC) struck first, as sophomore forward Jillian Gibbs (Burlington, Vt. / Rice Memorial) scored off a slap shot into the top of the net with 2:21 left in the first, assisted by junior forward Courtney Walpole (Allen, Texas / Dallas Stars) and sophomore forward Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska / Northern Jr. Cyclones (NEWJHL)). 30 seconds later, Walpole capitalized off a failed cover to score with an assist credited to Gibbs. Endicott finished the opening period with a 2-0 lead.

The 3-0 score would prove the final result. Endicott sophomore goalie Kyra Johansson (Buffalo, N.Y. / Lewiston-Porter) earned the win, stopping 14 of 14 Becker shots.

The Hawks of Becker (3-13-3, 1-2-3 CHC) saw junior goalie Julia Johnson (Littleton, Colo. / Walpole Express) enter the game in the third period and stop 21 of 21 shots, the night after she led Becker to a 1-1 tie against the Gulls stopping 51 of 52 shots.
