Jeff Hallenbeck was named the head coach of the Becker College men’s soccer program prior to the 2017 season.
In 2018, Hallenbeck's young Hawks saw two players named All-NECC in freshman Isaiah McCaskill and sophomore Colby Koch.
In 2017, his first season helming the program, Hallenbeck's Hawks more than doubled their offensive output from the season before, with freshman Leemar Baptista being voted to the NECC All-Conference team. Baptista was the first Hawk to make All-NECC since 2011.
Hallenbeck came to Becker having spent the previous season as an assistant coach at Curry College. While with Curry, Hallenbeck led the Colonels’ recruiting efforts, and developed a team culture which promoted teamwork and a winning attitude on and off the pitch. With Hallenbeck’s help, Curry reached the quarterfinals of the Commonwealth Coast Conference playoffs.
Prior to his work at Curry, Hallenbeck spent two years as the head coach of Sheridan College in Wyoming. Hallenbeck had previously been the head coach of Medway High School back in Massachusetts.
Hallenbeck is a graduate of Eastern Nazarene University with a Master’s Degree from the University of Scranton.
