SCORING SUMMARY

  • Dean got on the board first in the eighth minute when sophomore forward Davonn Smith (Lowell, Mass. / Central Catholic) beat a defender and blasted it home to put the Bulldogs ahead 1-0, assisted by senior defender Kyle Lameiras (Attleboro, Mass. / Attleboro). It was Smith's second goal of the season.
  • In the 18th minute, Becker would find the answer after sophomore forward Isaiah McCaskill (Springfield, Mass. / Springfield Renaissance) drew a hard foul in the box, then shot the penalty kick himself for his sixth goal of the season as the Hawks tied it up at 1-1.
  • In the 78th minute, Lameiras took advantage of a breakdown by the Becker defense to shoot the ball in for his third goal of the season, that assisted by sophomore midfielder Aaron Rivers (Punta Gorda, Fla. / Charlotte            Homeland Security), putting Dean up 2-1. That would hold up for the final score.
