Audain’s strike leads Men's Soccer to stalemate at Fisher

BOSTON, Mass. --- Becker freshman defender Derrick Audain (North Brunswick, N.J. / North Brunswick Township) scored a game-tying goal as the Becker College men's soccer team tied 1-1 in double-overtime at Fisher College on Wednesday evening at Hormel Stadium in Boston.

SCORING SUMMARY
• Fisher senior midfielder Jonathan Collins (Southwick, Mass. / UMass-Amherst) broke into the scoring column with a goal in the 37th minute to put the host Falcons ahead, 1-0.
• Becker answered in the 55th minute when sophomore forward Isaiah McCaskill (Springfield, Mass. / Springfield Renaissance) hit Audain with a pass and the rookie finished to tie it at 1-1. Audain, last week's New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Rookie of the Week, now has his second career goal, and ranks second on the Hawks in scoring this season.

FOR THE HAWKS
• Junior goalkeeper Sam Majewski (Warren, Mass. / Quaboag Regional Middle) led Becker with nine saves in goal.
• McCaskill finished with a team-high seven shots, two of those coming on-goal.
• Junior midfielder Jordan Wise (Los Angeles, Calif. / Hawthorne) posted four shots off the bench for Becker.

FOR THE FALCONS
• Junior goalkeeper Christopher Garcia (Rowland Heights, Calif. / Rowland) tallied ninth saves on the night for Fisher.

UP NEXT
The Hawks are back on the field on Sunday when they host Dean College in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action as part of Becker homecoming weekend, with the match beginning at 2:30 p.m.
