THE LEAD:
Becker freshman Isaiah McCaskill (Springfield, Mass.) capped a career week by scoring the game-winning goal exactly one minute into the first extra session to give the visiting Hawks a 3-2 victory in New England Collegiate Conference men's soccer action on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Hawks and McCaskill wasted little time in the first overtime when he went on the attack and sent a shot past a diving Brendan Pacheco (Fall River, Mass.) for the game-winner.

That goal ended a physical back and forth affair that saw the momentum swing between the teams beginning when Sideon Nemeth (Saint Thomas, Virgin Islands) took a feed from Nathan Cornejo (Douglas, Mass.) and deposited his third goal of the season at 38:32, giving the visitors a 1-0 lead.

Dean responded in the early portion of the second half when Caleb Kauffman (East Providence, R.I.) connected with Davonn Smith (Lawrence, Mass.) for the equalizer at 52:05.

The Bulldogs then took the lead when Tyler Mederios (Fall River, Mass.) and Felipe Campos (Barnstable, Mass.) set up Zeki Zai (Cleveland, Ohio) for his first career marker in the 71st minute.

Dean's advantage was erased less than eight minutes later when Micah Charette (Fort Kent, Maine) sent a blast into the back of the net, evening the score at 2-2 at the 79:07 mark.

That set the stage for McCaskill, who earlier in the week scored four goals in the Hawks' first victory, to give Becker their second consecutive victory.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
The Hawks held a 21-10 advantage on shots and a 3-1 difference in corner kicks. There were 25 fouls called five yellow cards.

UP NEXT:
The Bulldogs head to Worcester for a Wednesday night showdown against Worcester State, while the Hawks host Nichols on Tuesday.
