LEICESTER, Mass. --- The Becker College men's lacrosse team lost 12-2 to visiting UMass Dartmouth on Wednesday evening at Alumni Field in Leicester.
The Corsairs of UMass Dartmouth (6-4) were led by sophomore attacker Donovan Prozinski (Ashland, Mass. / Ashland) with four goals and one assist. Followed by sophomore Tom Donahue (Gloucester, Mass.) an attackman with three goals and one assist. Also, on the night Dean Miller (Ashland, Mass.) a senior attackman scored two goals with one assist. Josh Souza (Sandwich, Mass.) a freshmen midfielder put together a three-assist night for the Corsairs.
The Hawks of Becker now (1-8) had a quiet night with goals but showed patience with good ball movement. The first goal of the night for Becker was scored by Nicholas Mariano (Cranston, R.I.) a senior defender. The second and final goal on the night was by Lewis Jaworski (Cambridge, Mass.) a junior long pole midfielder.
The Hawks are back in action when they host Maritime College of New York on Monday at 7:00 p.m. The Corsairs travel to Keene State on Saturday for a 1:00 p.m. contest.
