Senior defensive back Nicholas Sherman (Hartford, Conn.) was named the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Sherman recorded a pair of interceptions, including one for a touchdown in the Hawks 58-6 victory over Gallaudet University on Saturday. Sherman also had six tackles including 1.5 for a loss.
