LEICESTER, Mass. - Hawks senior Kyra Teixeira (Old Lyme, Conn.) had a career week for Becker, leading to her second New England Collegiate Conference Player of the Week and Becker Athlete of the Week Awards, for the week ending on Oct. 6.

In three games for the Hawks, Teixeira amassed five goals and four assists, en route to 14 total points and a 3-0 record for Becker in wins over Eastern Nazarene, Fisher, and Dean.

In Thursday's victory against Fisher, Teixeira finished with three goals and three assists for nine points. The nine points are the most in a game since Lindsey Keith finished with 10 points in a win over Anna Maria on Sept. 25, 2017.

Teixeira is one of three players in the last five seasons with a game of three goals and three assists, joining Ciara McKissick, who accomplished the feat on Sept. 16, 2017, and Alison Mosdale, who finished with three-and-three on Oct. 15, 2015, both in wins over Wheelock.

Teixeira is now up to 12 goals, five assists, and 29 points, all career-highs, through 12 games this season.

The Hawks and Teixeira look for their fourth straight win as they face Mass Maritime tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. on the road. Becker returns to conference play on Saturday with a 2:30 p.m. match at New England College.
