Landry sets up Women’s Volleyball for two wins

CASTLETON, Vt. --- The Becker College women's volleyball team won two matches on Saturday at the Castleton University Tri-Match, defeating Green Mountain College, 25-17, 25-14, 25-10, before rallying from behind to stun the host Spartans in a five-set thriller, 23-25, 25-16, 16-25, 25-16, 15-12.

Senior setter Charlene Landry (Gorham, Maine / Gorham) led the Hawks with 13 service aces and 61 set assists over eight sets. Sophomore outside hitter Gillian Criddle (Earleville, Md. / Bohemia Manor) recorded 15 kills and six total blocks, while junior middle blocker Kayla Dupree (North Bergen, N.J. / Bronx) also had 15 kills. Sophomore right side Morgan Gould (North Attleboro, Mass. / Tri-County) finished with 14 kills, five aces and 24 digs.

Becker is back on the court on Tuesday when they travel to New England College for a 7:00 p.m. match.
