Women’s Soccer nabs five NECC All-Conference Selections

Women's Soccer All-Conference

Five players from the Becker College women's soccer team were recognized by the New England Collegiate Conference in their postseason awards in an announcement by the NECC on Monday. Awards are voted on by NECC coaches.

Junior forward Lindsey Keith (Sutton, Mass. / Sutton) was named to the All-NECC First Team, and had an incredible season with 21 goals and 48 points. The junior finished tenth in the nation in goals and first in the NECC. Keith was voted All-NECC Second Team in 2015 and 2016.

Junior goalkeeper Jordyn Martel (Chicopee, Mass. / Chicopee) and junior midfielder Ciara McKissick (Charlton, Mass. / Shepherd Hill Regional) were both voted All-NECC Second Team. Martel boasted an .803 save percentage with nine shutouts. McKissick finished with ten goals, eight assists and 28 points, good for sixth in the conference. McKissick was an All-NECC Second Team selection in 2016.

Senior midfielder Meghan Bealka (Freetown, Mass. / Apponequet Regional) and sophomore defender Kyra Teixeira (Old Lyme, Conn. / Lyme Old Lyme) were both voted All-NECC Third Team.

Martel was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.
