HOW IT HAPPENED
• The first half was a low-scoring affair, with Becker clinging to a 3-2 lead going into the intermission. But the Hawks exploded out of the gate in the second half, scoring seven unanswered goals in less than six minutes to put the game out of reach. The game was a matchup of the NECC's last two undefeated teams. Becker now holds sole possession of first place in the conference standings with just one game still to be played.

FOR THE HAWKS
• Becker senior goalkeeper Nikolle Storey (Cumberland, Maine / Kents Hill), last week's Becker Athlete of the Week, posted arguably the best performance of her season, tallying 10 saves off 13 shots on goal.
• Freshman attacker Clare Conway (Billerica, Mass. / Billerica Memorial) continued her outstanding rookie season, scoring six goals with two assists. Conway scored Becker's first two goals of the second half to burst open the floodgates, including the eventual game-winner.
• Sophomore attacker Arianna Calouro (East Providence, R.I. / East Providence) posted her best performance as a Hawk, with six goals and one assist. The sophomore also tallied five ground balls on the defensive end of the field.
• Freshman attacker Julia Ravenelle (Barrington, N.H. / Oyster River) added one goal with two assists and three ground balls.
• Junior midfielder Cassandra Nelson (Exeter, N.H. / Exeter) finished the day with one goal, one assist, five draw controls and two ground balls.
• Freshman attacker Shannon Siclari (West Haven, Conn. / West Haven) chipped in one goal, one assist and three ground balls.
• Freshman defender Kylian Kelly (Shrewsbury, Mass. / Shrewsbury) was dominant on the defensive end, posting a career-high nine caused turnovers with 11 ground balls, five draw controls and one assist.
• Sophomore defender Katherine Capobianco (North Andover, Mass. / North Andover) broke into the scoring column with her fourth goal of the year.
• Collectively, Becker outshot Elms 44-20.

FOR THE BLAZERS
• Elms sophomore goalkeeper Emily Huber (Jefferson, Maine / Lincoln Academy) anchored the Blazers' defense with 13 saves on the day.
• Elms had goals scored by senior attacker Vanessa Vurno (Salem, Conn. / East Lyme), junior midfielder Haley Richard (Monson, Mass. / Monson) and freshman attacker Elese Ciarcia (Glastonbury, Conn. / Glastonbury). Ciarcia's goal with 21:50 remaining in the second half was the only interruption in a 13 goal scoring streak for the Hawks.

A GOOD DAY TO BE A HAWK
• The game was a near full reversal of last year's matchup between the conference rivals, a game that saw Elms win 19-3.
• During halftime, Becker College recognized postseason accolade recipients from their Fall and Winter programs. A total of 36 Hawks were named to All-Conference and All-Academic Conference teams from the fall and winter seasons.

UP NEXT
The Hawks will wrap up their regular season on Thursday when they travel to Dean College for a 3:00 p.m. game.
