Becker places six on Women’s Lacrosse All-NECC Teams

The New England Collegiate Conference has released their Women's Lacrosse All-Conference team for 2017 as voted on by conference coaches, and six Hawks from Becker College made the list.

 

Sophomore defender Rachel Adams (Leominster, Mass. / Leominster) made the All-NECC First Team.  Adams started all 16 games for the Hawks, anchoring the defensive line and leading the team with 63 ground balls.

 

Freshman defender Samantha Carter (Boothbay Harbor, Maine / Boothbay Region) was voted All-NECC Second Team. Carter had an outstanding rookie season for the Hawks, tallying 14 goals on the season.

 

Finally, the quartet of sophomore attacker Taryn Flebbe (Neptune, N.J. / Neptune), junior midfielder Meghan Bealka (Freetown, Mass. / Apponequet Regional), freshman midfielder Cassandra Nelson (Exeter, N.H. / Exeter) and sophomore defender Jordyn Martel (Chicopee, Mass. / Chicopee) all were chosen as All-NECC Third Team selections.

 

Martel was also named to the NECC All-Sportsmanship Team.

 

Congratulations to the whole team on an outstanding season.
