Women’s Ice Hockey Shutout by Endicott, 6-0

BEVERLY, Mass.  – The Becker College women's ice hockey team was shutout by the Endicott Gulls 6-0 in Saturday evening Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) action.

SCORING SUMMARY

  • Endicott began the scoring 11:03 into the first period.  Courtney Sullivan (North Yarmouth, Maine) logged the goal, with help from Alexa Pretkelis (Crystal Lake, Ill.).
  • Endicott advanced the score to 4-0 in the second period as Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska), Caroline Hughs (Andover, Mass.), and Tabitha Franceschini (Brick, N.J.) each registered scores.   
  • In the final period, Endicott scored two more to total the 6-0 score.  Michaela McNamara (Warwick, R.I.) and Lexi Kelin (Shoreville, Minn.) scored the goals. 

 

IN BETWEEN THE PIPES

  • Endicott outshot the Hawks, 40-15 throughout the night.
  • Alyssa Peterson (Cranberry Township, Pa.) earned the win in net for the Gulls, turning away all 15 shots.
  • Julia Johnson (Littleton, Colo.) fought through the night and stopped 34 shots on net.

 

UP NEXT

Becker returns home on Friday (Feb. 8) and will host Morrisville State at 7:05 p.m.  Becker's senior day will be on Saturday (Feb. 9) against the Mustangs, also at the Worcester Ice Center.
