PORTSMOUTH, R.I. --- The Becker College women's ice hockey team lost 2-0 at Salve Regina University on Saturday night in Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) action at the Portsmouth Abbey Ice Rink in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

SCORING SUMMARY
• After two scoreless periods, the Seahawks struck first with 4:09 left in the third period when junior forward Caroline Prezioso (Trumbull, Conn. / Hartford Jr. Lady Wolfpack) gave Salve Regina a 1-0 lead.
• Then with 34 seconds left in the game, Becker pulled their goalie for a an extra player, only for Salve Regina junior forward Maddy McCann (Westerly, R.I. / Junior Boston Blades) to score an empty netter to put the game away.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS
• Becker senior goaltender Julia Johnson (Littleton, Colo. / Walpole Express) finished the night with 27 saves between the pipes.
• Salve Regina goaltender Jennifer O'Connell (Marstons Mills, Mass. / Hebron Academy) recorded the shutout with 12 saves.
• Becker senior forward Claudia Gee (Randolph, Vt. / Vermont Shamrocks), freshman defender Julia Ravenelle (Barrington, N.H. / Seacoast Spartans) and senior forward Michaela Martin (Sheldon, Vt. / Vermont Shamrocks) each had two shots for the Hawks.
