Bison Stampede Past Men's Hockey

Men's hockey fell to Nichols College 6-2 on Saturday afternoon.

HARRISVILLE, R.I. – Nichols College Sophomore Vincent Crivello picked up a hat trick as the Bison knocked off Becker College 6-2 Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Levy Rink.
 
Senior captain Scott Cuthrell and sophomore Hogan Davidson each notched three points as the Bison moved to 6-4-2 on the season (4-2-2 CCC). Junior Matthew Menta  and sophomore J.B. Baker each picked up two points.
 
Senior James Wallace (Levvittown, Pa.) and freshman Charles Costello (Philadelphia, Pa.) netted goals for the Hawks, who saw freshman netminder Cody Foster (Saugas, Calif.) tagged for five goals on 31 shots.
 
Nichols – which went 3-for-4 with the man advantage – outshot the Hawks 37-28 and saw freshman goalie Henry Burns stop 26 shots to move to 2-1-0 on the season.

The Hawks return to action on Saturday, December 9th when they host Salve Regina University at 7:00 p.m.
