Men's Basketball ends season with win over Nighthawks

BROOKLINE, Mass. --- The Becker College men's basketball team won 115-92 at Newbury College on Saturday afternoon in New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) action at the Pappas Gymnasium in Brookline, Massachusetts.

FOR THE HAWKS
• Senior guard Kareem Davis (Lowell, Mass. / St. John's) continued his historic season, as he poured in 38 points with seven rebounds and two assists to lead Becker to victory. The senior team captain shot 11-of-17 from the floor, 5-of-8 from behind the arc and 11-of-13 from the free throw line.
• Junior forward Antonio White Jr. (Middletown, Conn. / Middletown) finished with 29 points with nine rebounds and three assists.
• Sophomore forward Mateus Ribeiro (Sao Paulo, Brazil / Colegio Pedroso e Oliveira) finished with 16 points and nine boards.
• Sophomore Jamir Carr (Philadelphia, Penn. / Universal Audenried) totaled 15 points with six rebounds and three assists.
• Freshman guard Jordan Rose-Wheatley (New Bedford, Mass. / Bridgton Academy) shot 5-of-6 from the floor, scoring 11 points.
• Collectively, Becker shot 63.2 percent from the floor, their best shooting performance of the season.

FOR THE NIGHTHAWKS
• Omar Williams (Queens, N.Y.) finished with 34 points, three assists, and three rebounds for Newbury.
• Pierce Weatherspoon (Hartford, Conn.) added 16 points, five assists, and five rebounds.
• Sophomore Tim Deng (Portland, Maine) finished with 10 points on a perfect 5-for-5 shooting.
