Frank Forcucci Named Interim Head Football Coach

LEICESTER, Mass.- Becker College Director of Athletics Frank Millerick has announced the promotion of Frank Forcucci as interim head football coach. Forcucci takes over for Mike Lichten, who resigned on Monday evening.

"I am pleased to announce that Frank Forcucci has agreed to serve as the interim head football coach at Becker College.  Frank brings a wealth of college football coaching experience.  He cares deeply about his student-athletes both in the classroom and on the football field.  He is a man of integrity, and I look forward to working with Coach Forcucci and continuing to move our program forward," said Millerick.

Forcucci spent the last three seasons as Becker's Associate Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator.

Forcucci brings more than twenty four years of coaching experience to Becker College.  Prior to his arrival in Leicester, Forcucci coached throughout the Northeast, including at the University of Massachusetts, Central Connecticut State University, Fordham University and Northeastern University.

"It's an honor and a privilege to lead this program and to work with this group of enthusiastic and hard-working student-athletes as we build on the foundation established by Coach Mike Lichten, "said Forcucci.
