Farrell Earns First Place Finish at Holy Cross Show

The Becker Equestrian Team rode to a fifth place finish with 22 points at the College of Holy Cross show.

Riding in intermediate fences was senior Terise Cole, junior Kirby Kojabashian, and sophomore Meghan Burkhardt who placed fourth, second, and fifth. Cole and Burkhardt also showed in open flat and both placed fifth.

Kojabashian and sophomore Lynda Mockler rode in intermediate flat placing fifth. Sophomore Bella Brogle placed second while freshman Morgan Houghton placed sixth.

Brogle also competed in novice fences earning a blue ribbon and taking home Reserve High Point Rider of the Day. Mockler and Sara Pauwels also rode, placing fourth and second.

Freshmen Tanashia Casado and Shannon Mangan rode in advanced walk trot canter placing fourth. Sophomore Jessica Goeller placed sixth while freshman Casey Ryan placed second.

The second first place finish of the day went to freshman Emily Farrell in beginner walk trot canter who point up into the net division.
